Insurance Operations Jobs description
An insurance operations professional should have an in depth knowledge of insurance concepts, financial analysis, auditing procedures, and accounting principles. An insurance operations professional needs to analyze and evaluate the financial statements of a company and provide inputs in compliance with the rules and regulations. An insurance operations professional needs to coordinate and work with the accounts department to ensure disbursement of refunds. Such jobs require to evaluate, investigate, negotiate, and settle all claims. An insurance operations professional needs to perform transactions pertaining to refund of deposits, rectification of errors, and cheque dishonor reversal. An insurance operations professional has to supervise the insurers and ensure that they are properly authorized. Responsibilities also include addressing the statutory market conduct issues and maintaining a timely and efficient registration system for insurers.An insurance operations professional should have a thorough knowledge of statutory accounting principles and financial analysis procedures. An insurance operations professional should be a graduate from an accredited college with a certificate in accounting and insurance study. Very good underwriting and communication skills along with proficiency with MS Office is also important.
