This role is responsible for managing ocean logistics for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s import shipments from overseas. Ocean logistics management involves freight forwarder operations in various Asian countries, origin consolidation, and ocean shipping. Critical responsibilities include third-party service provider management, performance management of operational KPIs, influencing and driving process improvement, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies, operational and systematic problem solving and issue resolution, and forecasting and data reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management Manage multiple international logistics functions and third-party service providers, including freight forwarders and ocean carriers.
Effectively collaborate with many internal business functions (Demand Planning and Category mgmt, Exclusive Brands, Distribution, IT, Finance, EDI team, and BBY Asia and BBY Canada Supply Chain team) in support of day-to-day operations management.
Conduct internal trainings and information sessions of ocean logistics
Support annual RFP, lead new contract on-boarding process, and on-going contract amendments
Identify and Drive Operational, Systemic and Process Efficiencies Responsible for solving problems and driving initiatives and efficiencies related to transportation operations, service level expectations, cost reductions, and inventory flow.
Responsible for business requirements supporting IT/system enhancements, defect fixes and new capabilities in support of ocean logistics, as well as resolution of regular system issues.
Reporting & Analytics and Financial Management Oversee & manage weekly/monthly reporting rhythms, including performance versus forecast/budget for key performance metrics.
Utilize data and analytics to drive operational excellence.
Develop forecasting and manage freight prioritization by collaborating with internal business teams, including Exclusive Brands, Finance, and Category Management.
Basic Requirements
3 or more years of Supply Chain, Operations, Demand/Forecasting Planning, or related experience
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to multitask, demonstrate initiative, and work independently
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others
Ability to develop insights through data, solve root causes, and influence upstream
