WHAT YOU’LL DOÂ
This position will be based in Westfield, IN. Candidate must be available to travel to Menlo Park, CA for training at most once a month for the first 6 months.
•   Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce the work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency. These actions will occur across multiple facets of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s organization including: manufacturing, design, supplier development, documentation, and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s suppliers.
•   Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies. The employee will be required to create strong relationships with team members internal and external to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. to ensure project success.
•   Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
•   Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduce work in process and improve fill rates.
•   Completes capacity analyzes internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools.
•   Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.
•   Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers.
•   Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products. May use financial analyses tool and recommend alternative courses of action.
•   Convinces internal customer or suppliers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes so that unbridled supply can be achieved.
•   Develops and coordinates ergonomic projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGÂ
•   Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering degree. Advanced degree preferred.
•   6 years of  work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Â
•   Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
