Description

The Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement monitors and measures relevant process and performance artifacts to assess the health of IT Service Management practices and identify ways to optimize performance through process improvement activities. The Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

As part of the IT Service Management Office, the Lead, IT Business Performance/Process Improvement devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT Practices and any related improvement initiative. Identifies and analyzes performance measures and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas. Advises other leaders to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years of project leadership experience
Experience analyzing and presenting complex data
Strong process management skills, including the ability to monitor/track work items within a process, supporting business partners, measurement/reporting, follow-up, and process documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills, across regions and management levels, adjusting communication style to ensure comprehension, and communicating complex ideas in easy-to-understand ways
Moderate understanding of architecture principles (e.g. IT process models, reference architectures, IT roadmaps)
Experience applying Agile and Lean principles in process design and/or enhancement
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


ITIL® certification
Experience with the ServiceNow Platform, especially the ITSM Product
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Lean/Six Sigma Certification
SAFe certification
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
PMP certification
Prior experience with Service Management in an Agile environment
Moderate understanding of concepts associated with the quality of cloud services (e.g. HA, DR, scaling, performance)
Prior experience in the health solutions industry

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:


At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
