The global Agriculture & Forestry (A&F) business is seeking high-capacity, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious and creative people to work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to lead Shell into the futureThe A&F Sector is underpinned by the end-to-end (E2E) Global Sulphur Sales & Marketing Business,

The purpose of the Commercial Lead: Sulphur Supply & Decarbonization: Americas & Oceania is to secure & manage 3rd party upstream and downstream Sulphur, and to develop decarbonization opportunities with suppliers, including Thiogro technology.

Shell Thiogro technology has been developed to help fertilizer manufacturers around the world make more advanced formulations to improve crop yields and lower carbon footprints, activities which are fully aligned with the Sector’s growth and Decarbonization objectives.

Accountabilities:


Deliver 3rd party Sulphur supply growth across North America, South America and Oceania, while creating pathways for your customers to decarbonize.

Coordinating the end-to-end supply of Equity and Third-Party supply across refineries, gas plants and terminals in Canada and the US, surpassing volume targets and enabling optimized volume placement to highest value channels (truck, rail, marine).
Developing a personal reputation as a global SME in the field of Sulphur, and agriculture & forestry and promoting Customer Back commercial and decarbonization partnerships.
Evaluating commercial opportunities for Sulphur and Thiogro and economically viable portfolios for their implementation
Providing commercial and/or technical inputs to the global team on the market fundamentals and opportunities including fertilizer, agriculture crops, energy & chemicals and EV metals.


Skills & Requirements

What we need from you –

The A&F organization is seeking customer-focused, entrepreneurial professionals with a proven track record of high-performance, agility, and delivery across an integrated value chain. As part of a small, nimble, global and focused team, successful candidates will directly contribute to the sustainable growth of the Sulphur business as we lead through the Energy Transition.


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
At least ten (10) years of demonstrated commercial acumen and new business development competencies to drive business outcomes
A deep understanding of the agriculture, fertilizer and/or Sulphur industries
Must at least have a BS degree. MBA preferred.
Ability to influence stakeholders and work across boundaries and cultures, both internally and externally
Learner mindset – ability to apply varied and global inputs to support sector financial and decarbonization offerings
Demonstrated commerciality and ability to manage senior external relationships and negotiations in order to deliver sustainable value
Experience in supply chain management and understanding of full E2E value optimization
Demonstrated track record in contract negotiations,
Ability to perform detailed economic or agronomic evaluations to support new business opportunities
The ability to speak languages in addition to English is beneficial
