What’s the role?
As a Master Scheduler for Projects, you will be responsible for the coordination of the delivery of high quality project schedules in primavera p6 that support the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of projects at our Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam.
Our local portfolio of projects is ambitious, complex, interesting and supported by a very diverse group of people. In this role you will not have direct reports but will nonetheless play a major coordinating role in managing the scheduling workflow. The ultimate aim of the schedules is to facilitate a safe and efficient execution of work. We aim to improve on this by making it possible to combine project schedules with maintenance schedules into an intergrated plan (IAPS). This to better allign execution plans and prevent clashes. Your role will be to help improve our complex projects workprocesses to make this possible. You will not be alone, but become part of a motivated and welcoming team.
More specific responsibilities include:
Coordinates the delivery (though others) of all project and tank maintenance schedules including construction phase
Implements and maintains quality control including TA3 assurance on schedules
Controls project schedule alignment with turnaround schedule input.
Controls compliance with IAPS scheduling standards so that project schedules can be combined with schedules from other parties for integrated reporting and synergy
Develops and maintains Primavera scheduling infrastructure, requirements, resources, and activity codes system
Tracks scheduling quality and performance, reports and escalates when required
Manages project performance measurements and project specific KPI’s such as performance against GAME requirements or equivalent, SLT dashboard, continues milestone sheet, etc.
Builds and maintains the tools required for project reporting purposes
Acts as primavera focal point for projects including TPA and access rights management
Liaisons between IAPS master scheduler and project scheduling parties
Translates IAPS steering information into actionable tasks in order to align project delivery with strategy
Interfaces with TAO and service provides to ensure manpower capacity fits needs
Helps to coordinates all project scheduling improvement initiatives
Provides support for P&T run Pernis projects that use Pernis primavera database
Builds and maintains information portal (Sharepoint/Powerbi/Powerapp) for project scheduling information for stakeholders
What we need from you?
We’re keen to hear from individuals with proven experience in refinery or petrochemical plant turnaround and project scheduling. You must also have substantial experience and advanced skill level in scheduling using Primavera P6.
We also hope you possess the following skills and experience:
GSAP sufficient knowledge to understand and manage IMPRESS interface
P6 primavera expertise including TEAMMEMBER
Works effectively in a (virtual) team environment and build consensus
Written and verbal communication skills
Leadership and coaching skills
