The Distribution Systems Support Specialist provides operational support of the Automated Storage & Retrieval System in the Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) and Metro Ecommerce Centers (MEC). This is a hands on role in supporting the ASRS in daily production standards and work flow. Duties include the operation of the automated system and resolution and triage of issues that may cause downtime including, components of the ASRS system. The role actively addresses problems of the Print-and-apply (PANDA) system, communication errors, Robot issues and bin alignment issues. This position is also responsible for conducting first level issue resolution with the robots including photo eye, wheel and overall, light cleaning of the robots provides operational support of the Automated Storage & Retrieval System in the Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) and Metro Ecommerce Centers (MEC). Basic Qualifications:
1 or more years' experience working in a Distribution Center
Prior experience in Supply Chain, Retail or related fields
Prior experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
Prior experience using analytical skills to problem solve
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with Retail Supply Chain systems
