MARCH Vision Care is a national Medicaid and Medicare vision benefits administrator and a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Care.
This position is responsible for various functions related to receipt, transmission, translation, and maintenance of electronic and non-electronic encounter data.
Youll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Aid in generating, processing, and auditing EDI files and coordinate exchange with plan partner representatives
Perform testing on basic system configurations
Assist with encounter data error resolution research
Eligibility and claim history research as necessary
Maintain departmental forms, job aids, and tracking lists
Provide production support to the eligibility process as outlined in the eligibility coordinator job description
Any other tasks as required in support of the Eligibility & EDI department

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1 years of claim processing / benefit-pricing configuration or Healthcare Software System Configuration experience
1 years of experience working with EDI X12 data files (e.g. 834, 837, 997/999, 277CA) and/or proprietary flat files
1 years of entry-level experience with SQL queries
Experience working with large data sets
Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
College experience in business administration, health administration, or computer science
Demonstrated ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Proven self-motivated with ability to work independently with limited supervision
Proven analytical and organizational skills
Proven keen attention to detail
Proven logical and efficient
Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
Physical Demands:
Constantly sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear
Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 10 pounds
Working Environment:
Works inside in a climate-controlled office. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Occasional pressure due to multiple deliverables. May be subject to many interruptions

The hourly range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $22.45 to $43.89.
