Job Description:

This role is responsible for identifying and coordinating Logistics operations for Wells, Production and Projects. Role is intended to take customer requirements and determining how best to satisfy those requirements in the safest and most cost effective manner and providing proactive feedback to such customers. Duties to include executing against the forecast for water transfer, materials and services for rig and completions operations, Waste Management, Production fluid hauling operations, and construction project material movement activities.

Execute against customer requirements on a short basis and establish trends.

Operational understanding of water transfer operations to support frac

Strong safety leader

Maintain strong contact with the key Logistics Service Contractors and manage deliveries with Contractors.

Provide service consolidation and Reduce Delivery Cost

Provide service consolidation and reduce number of trips and attendant HSE exposure.

Assures and supervises contractor compliance in the field for water transfer.

Support Compliance with Road Transport Standards in the field.

Serve as the single point of contact for the Shell locations to include Wells, Well Testing/Production, and Projects while on hitch/shift for water transfer operations.

Receive information/questions from stakeholders and follow-up on said information and/or requests.

Resolve any discrepancies between rig personnel, production locations, project construction crews and contractor expectations/orders.

Ensure information required for shipping is in accordance with local regulations and compatible with normally available equipment for movement.

Serve as focal point for complaints/concerns from external stakeholders that come in to the Shell locations regarding traffic control, dust control, or other road transport issues on the lease that arise.

Support the Logistics Specialist in creating near-term and long-term logistics strategies, especially focused on optimizing road transport activity and freight forwarding/handling operations.

Ensure HSSE Standards are being followed by 3rd party vendors and oversight of aviation, road transport, inventory/materials management, waste streams, communications, and regulatory compliance/reporting.

Requirements:

High risk country for road transport requires skilled capabilities in HSSE leadership and technical competency.

Skilled in the management of labor unions and understanding of union policies.

High school diploma required.

Fluent in English

Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.

Track record of managing road transport safety and overall logistics coordination activities.

Understanding of contract management and commercial terms in road transport.

Good operational background primarily drilling and completions, production, and special projects logistics needs..

Strong inter-personal skills..
