We have an opportunity to join the Alliance as a Member Services Training and Project Specialist in the Member Services Department. We are filling one position, and it can be filled in any of our three Alliance offices within California: Merced, Salinas or Scotts Valley.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the Member Services Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and facilitation of the Member Services Department Curriculum. You will also actively participate in coordinating, leading, and supporting Member Services Department projects and company-wide initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Knowledge of:
Basic project management methodologies and tools
Windows-based PC systems and Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Visio
Basic research, analysis and reporting methods
Principles and practices of customer service
Basic methods and techniques related to the development of training programs
Methods and techniques of procedure development and process improvement
Ability to:
Work collaboratively with SMEs and the Training and Development team in the development of training content and to determine the most effective way to deliver training based upon the topic and needs of the team
Create an environment that fosters learning and engagement, including the application of instructional design techniques that make training engaging and motivating
Develop educational materials, make presentations, and conduct training for a variety of internal and external audiences, both one-on-one and in group settings
Plan and coordinate multiple projects, create project plans, organize work, identify and involve relevant stakeholders, and achieve goals and timelines
Demonstrate highly effective presentation and facilitation skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Project Management, Health Care or a related field
A minimum of three years of experience related to supporting, planning, developing and/or delivering training in an employment setting or a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience performing member services, care coordination or similar work in a managed care setting (a Master’s degree may substitute for two years of the required experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
OTHER DETAILS
While this position is connected to one of our Alliance offices, we are in a fully telecommute work environment right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview and on-boarding process for this position will be completed remotely
This position
may
require onsite presence when our offices re-open, which will be no sooner than February 1, 2022. Onsite presence will most likely be on a part-time basis, but is dependent on business needs
COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement:
This position requires staff to be fully vaccinated upon their start date as a condition of employment. Proof of vaccination must be submitted at time of hire. Fully vaccinated is defined by the CDC. This means receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer & Moderna vaccines) OR receipt of a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) AND a 2-week period having passed since the administration of the last vaccine dose.
