Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


Responsible for assessing, facilitating and managing the R&D Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program and corresponding activities, including:
Overseeing the coordination of end-to-end risk management activities throughout the TPRM lifecycle (Planning, Due Diligence, Contracting, Ongoing Monitoring & Termination).
Serving as the initial point of escalation for stakeholders and the TPRM team, as needed.
Responsible for management, administration, communication and updates of the enterprise TPRM capability materials such as the procedures, requirements, technology and supporting tools.
Maintaining relationships and facilitating collaboration between the TPRM team, Legal, Procurement and other key TPRM stakeholders.
Serve as a day-to-day liaison for the R&D Strategy & Sourcing Capability Director, R&D Business Units, Risk SME's and other senior stakeholders regarding the TPRM service and capabilities.
Manage workflow and ensure quality of Risk Management activities performed by the TPRM Team. This includes oversight of risk stratification and assessment execution, issue management, as well as reporting and metrics.
Oversee third party risk landscape across R&D, in-line with Enterprise expectation, and communicate key changes to the R&D Strategy & Sourcing Capability Director.
Facilitate escalations including instances of non-compliance or high-risk concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
Oversee completion of Business Unit on-going risk management activities and report appropriately on instances of non-compliance.
Manage issue escalation processes to ensure appropriate stakeholders and executives across R&D and the enterprise are involved, based on defined risk thresholds.
Perform/oversee initial review of risk metrics aggregated and address inquiries regarding reporting / dashboards.
Perform/oversee sample Quality Assurance (QA) on TPRM activities completed throughout the lifecycle.
Liaise with the R&D Procurement Category Leads on preferred and approved vendors and alignment with the vendor master/ TPRM Tool.
Initial approval level for the management and administration of TPRM procedures, tools and corresponding support materials.
Act a major change champion of the TPRM process across the Enterprise
Act as R&D Procurement liaison with internal regulatory inspection teams, external regulatory inspectors, R&D Procurement and other business stakeholders in support of BMS regulatory inspections
Perform/oversee other projects as assigned

Qualifications:


B.S./B.A. or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management
Minimum of 9 years of business experience
Minimum of 7 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience or related category domain experience of relevant experience
Minimum of 2 year Pharmaceutical Procurement experience, or working directly with Pharmaceutical Procurement teams or relevant experience
Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams
Internal stakeholder management, data/information management, process redesign and continuous improvement expertise, project management and performance measurement skills
Ability to communicate and work with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis
Procurement process knowledge, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management, technology utilization, strategic planning and integrated supply chain experience
Detail-oriented with strong analytic skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience managing and executing Third Party Risk Management capabilities in an innovative environment required
