Society6 is seeking a smart and passionate Supply Chain Analyst with a deep understanding of how to design a highly effective logistical infrastructure in a decentralized and internationally operating eCommerce environment. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations and is a key contributor to Society 6’s profitability and customer satisfaction through the effective organization of our global logistical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Identify areas of opportunity in the Society6 supply chain infrastructure in order to develop, present and execute a strategic roadmap with the goal of optimizing the customer experience.
Manage Society 6’s domestic and international shipping providers, monitor performances and optimize service cost
Qualifications:
3 years managing a decentralized supply chain with internationally located production facilities, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
Analytically strong, highly proficient in MS Excel and ideally equipped with MySQL base knowledge.
Ability to procure and interpret data to develop and present concepts that drive process improvement.
Thorough understanding of international logistics/logistical partners via sea, air, land and delivering products to customers in over 130 countries.
Ability to optimize product packaging to meet ideal dimensional weights.
Profound understanding of international custom standards and incoterms.
Excellent negotiation skills in driving partners and vendors to low cost, high service solutions.
Excellent project management skills with the proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
