The Americas HR Operations Team Manager is an integral part of Pure’s Global HR Shared Services, focused on employees in the US and Americas, directly supporting client groups such as HR COEs, HRBPs, and HR Program Owners in our HR Shared Services group. The role ensures HR Shared Services delivers consistent high-quality HR services and support, resulting in exceptional customer experiences for stakeholders, managers, and employees.
Based in our Lehi, Utah office you will lead our regional HR Operations Team to support HR Programs and employee lifecycle events from pre-hire onboarding to terminations (hire to retire) in a centralized HR Shared Services model. You will oversee daily operations while meeting SLAs, own data compliance and auditing (SOX, ICFR), and report internally against Shared Services metrics. You will report to the Director, Global HR Operations and have direct reports in Lehi, UT as well as our headquarters in Mountain View, CA. You will partner with internal stakeholders such as IT Deployment, US Payroll, and internal HR CoEs to support all US and Americas based employees.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a diverse team of Employees and contractors through flexing work scope and assignments during periods of volume spikes/troughs and ensure engagement is high during challenging periods
Oversee daily operations for Americas region (US, Canada, Brazil), including performance against SLAs and issue resolution
In conjunction with the Continuous Improvement Manager, identify and implement Workday business process improvements for global alignment and optimal employee experience
Own HR Compliance, including SOX quarterly samples and compliance with internal financial controls (ICFR)
Responsible for Workday data integrity, including transaction auditing, improvements to workflows, and troubleshooting cross-functional issues
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Minimum 5 years experience leading a People Operations Team in a shared services environment with in-depth knowledge and experiences with HR process execution, HR operations in a majority of HR practices/disciplines
In-depth knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow (or similar) with the ability to gather and analyze key data for optimizing services.
Ability to take initiative and be proactive in ambiguous situations, to work complex issues with attention to detail, and manage a high-performing team across multiple locations
Flexible & positive attitude; ability to shift priorities and manage through change
Ability to perform detailed data-driven analysis and root cause analysis with a view to highlight trends and issues, and to work toward solutions
Ability to partner with cross-functional colleagues, in HR, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.
Demonstrated effective communication and strong presentation skills
