Summary:

This position supports leveraging Continuous Improvement the Tyson Productivity System methodologies to eliminate waste and provide a systematic and structured way to reduce cost through utilizing the Poultry Plant Performance Initiative Gap Plans. This role is the process owner for analyzing reviewing making recommendations and tracking plant savings plans and meeting with Poultry CI Sr Managers to drive accountability and surface needs for course correction. Responsibilities include; acting as liaison between all Poultry BU Finance and Poultry CI teams leading and implementing the Poultry CI financial roll up and reporting of Gap Plan savings analyzing Gap Plan savings results and variance reporting to identify needs and opportunities utilizing Power BI and other corporate IT tools to visual opportunities and results for CI and cross functional leadership teams. This position also leads the coordination of horizontally deploying cost out initiatives when applicable for the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor degree preferred; Degrees in Business Finance or Operations Management are beneficial. Experience: 5 plus years in Shared Services Sales Marketing or Operations with project management experience.

Technical Skills: Microsoft Office including PowerPoint Project Manager and Word. Advanced skills in Excel ability to learn new systems and organize significant amounts of information in a simplified and professional manner is critical. Experience with Tableau a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills are required. Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and assume a leadership role during cross functional meetings is critical.

Travel: 8 or more trips per year as needed.

Position Specific: Knowledge of practical lean manufacturing principles. Financial acumen strategic planning capabilities with the skill to organize and analyze data identify opportunities and recommend direction. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Creative problem solver with innovative approaches to resolve complex problems. Excellent project management skills with proven ability to drive results through coordination and juggling cross functional team meetings from higher levels in the organization. Proven leadership skills.
