Summary
This position will provide support to the general Complex Manager and the Operations Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for managing several groups of personnel; identify and resolve issues related to yields and safety; direct and support production teams to achieve operational, safety, human resources, and financial goals. Assist with maintaining daily surveillance of over all facets of facility operations. Monitor yields and general efficiencies of all departments. Supplement all critical plant planning functions to include but not limited to labor relations, personnel planning, labor efficiencies, safety, worker’s compensation, ergonomics, management, development, supply, material procurement and maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Basic computer skills including the ability to generate letters and reports, create basic spreadsheets and queries. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have extensive knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations; must have a strong operational background in both in slaughter and processing. Requires the ability to lead by example and solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow-up; strong managerial skills; decision making, and problem-solving skills required.
Requirements
Resume is required and must contain contact information, related work experience/history, skills, and educational information. High School diploma required. College degree in business or related field preferred. Six (6) or more years of business management experience in beef/pork plant operations and food inspections required. Prefer 2 years superintendent level experience.

Team member will not be considered if they have any one of the following disciplines on record: Failure to get along with co-workers at any stage; Safety violation at written warning suspension stage; Work (job) performance at written warning suspension stage; Code of Conduct at Written Warning suspension stage. An applicant will NOT be considered for this position if there are currently (on application date) more than 5.5 points of absenteeism on their record. Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities then external candidates
