This individual has seasoned experience driving technical platform solutions against impactful business outcomes with a strategic and analytical lens. Working in Splunk Cloud, you will experience a dynamic environment with an agile approach to delivering customer-focused automated solutions.In this role, you will merge technical understanding with system design knowledge to build out our integrated delivery platform by partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the system development lifecycle. You will incorporate customer inputs directly into the development process to enable speed to market while ensuring an excellent customer experience.The ability to lead matrix teams through influence, communicate across technical and business minded teams, and find simple solutions to complex problems will accelerate your success in streamlining product delivery across our cloud product portfolio.ResponsibilitiesAs with any fast-growing company, day-to-day responsibilities will span the entire product management lifecycle and include deep interaction with customers, sales, product, and engineering. As a Senior Product Manager, you will:Build out automated and self-service solutions for delivering our Cloud service offeringsOwn and lead implementation of automated solutions through roadmap planning, requirement gathering, and technical system design documentationListen to and absorb our internal and external customer experiences and challenges to convert them into business and technical requirements and continue to iterate on delivered solutionsDefine product specs, user stories, mockups and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineeringBe the subject matter expert on our delivery processes completed our platform and guide cross-functional teams throughout planning and developmentUse metrics to monitor and forecast efficacy of delivered solution and use them to optimize roadmaps against data-driven decisions for future iterationsCollaborate cross-functionally to implement changes that mature Cloud\u2019s service delivery and benefit the entire businessOperationalize automated solutions and ensure monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation paths are in placeRequirements5 years of experience in a technical product role requiring extensive knowledge of delivering Saas solutions and their underlying cloud infrastructure and delivery platformExperience with IaaS and integrated system level designSkills for cloud computing principles across public cloud providersAnalytical abilities with a data-informed approach to product decision-makingStrong sense of customer empathy to care deeply about customer problems and user experienceCollaborative teammate, with strong communication skills, including the ability to translate sophisticated technical products and features into simple concepts and presentationsProven experience leading multiple workstreams, handling Kanban boards in JIRA, and delivering against system level design requirementsEducationBachelor\u2019s degree in a technical field (e.g. EE, CS); MBA or similar degree highly preferredIf you\u2019d like to join one of the fastest-growing and most exciting tech companies in Silicon Valley, contact us!Benefits are an important part of Splunk's Total Rewards package.
