Description

The Process Improvement Lead works across all Specialty Pharmacy Segments and reports directly to the Senior Vice President. This role has a strong background in Project Management, Process Improvement, and Analytics. Manages multiple complex projects and is the key component to ensure HSP has the ability and strategy to reach all goals. The Process Improvement Lead serves as the internal consultant to all Specialty leaders by providing direction and insight on Change Management.

Responsibilities

The Process Improvement Lead defines the strategy for single or multiple lines of business targeting specific markets and/or business segments. The Process Improvement Lead work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This role, as an individual contributor, will be responsible for working across Specialty Pharmacy to ensure all projects and future initiatives are on target.

The Process Improvement Lead will:

Provide data driven expertise and management reporting to improve performance and increase market share.

Develop go to market strategies and identify new business opportunities.

Identify key areas of improvement through trend and utilization analysis.

Collaborate closely with business leaders, marketing, Business Intelligence and finance to ensure effective, strategic, and competitive plans across HSP.

Begin to influence department's strategy.

Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Lead functional areas and departments in review of all current and proposed projects for prioritization discussions with leadership

Schedule meetings, compiles meeting minutes, tracks follow up actions, prepares project management documentation, and develops reports and dashboards for milestones and report outs to customers.

Enter and analyzes data in various ways to determine trends and identify root causes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field

6 years' experience managing large to midscale projects

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial trends

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Strong background in Data Review

Advanced Presentation Skills and Corporate Communication

Experience working across different departments to ensure consistency

Experience in Pharmacy Analytics

Ability to remain agile to perform other job-related duties required by leader

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Six Sigma or Lean experience

Demonstrated sales and account management experience

Experience in Specialty Pharmacy Operations

Additional Information

Location: Work at Home Nationwide, some travel required

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
