Job Summary
Comcast Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) is the premier Operations team within Comcast Cybersecurity (CCS). CCS is composed of a team of transformative security professionals expanding in multiple directions, across boundaries and, most of all, in the way we think. The Manager of Operations Enablement will be passionate about efforts to transform the CSOC through automation and efficient processes. This role will continuously improve and design vulnerability management and incident response processes to ensure comprehensive coverage. In addition, the Senior Manager will play a critical role in creating a collaborative culture of innovation and paving the way for the CSOC to become a center of excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing proactive efforts that includes automation and orchestration of operational playbooks to address a wide variety of threats from Insider Threat to Ransomware to Zero-Day Vulnerabilities. This engaged leader will work collaboratively across Cybersecurity disciplines to ensure the intended security posture is continuously monitored to identify potential business impacting issues or active attacks.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement efforts across all CSOC processes and workflows .
Lead After Action Reviews to identify key takeaways and mitigation actions for major incidents to brief the executive leadership team .
Review corrective action plans (CAPs) to ensure that mitigation actions are completed to reduce overall security risk to Comcast.
Lead efforts to create and maintain reusable playbooks across the CSOC .
Lead and manage CSOC brand to establish presence for everything CSOC providing a front-door for all key stakeholders and customers.
Provide support for key CSOC efforts including metrics and reporting as well as highlighting CSOC accomplishments across stakeholder meetings.
Anticipate and resolve issues (eliminate roadblocks for team to enable delivery) .
Partner with CSOC leaders and team members to continuously improve CSOC processes.
Provide leadership across CSOC efforts to guide and mentor team members.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in cyber-security practices and comfortable in a dynamic environment . Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a virtual team environment, able to design and implement critical processes , and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Have 3 years of experience leading high-performing teams
Have 5 years of experience in security operations , security engineering , or similar role
Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
Knowled g e of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of work streams simultaneously, and under deadline
Have a high level of personal integrity and very good professional judgement
Be accustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity
Certifications: Relevant cyber security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM and/or PMP are highly desired
