Profile

The Sustainability Sr. Director Business Operations will own responsibility for coordinating and supporting administrative and operations tasks within the sustainability department including business planning, financial operations, project management, technology, and data analytics. Role will develop strategy to analyze and share data within department; accelerate processes; predict needs and implement solutions that drive maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Influences the future strategy of the overall business division with capability of long-term planning

Provides guidance and advice to senior management based on deep subject matter enterprise

Accountable for budget and administrative oversight

Focus on strategic alignment across the Sustainability function

Leverages external industry relationships to represent Enterprise appropriately

Responsible for communicating strategy and Sustainability “storytelling” internally and externally

Provide data and legal analytics

Project manage critical projects in collaboration with cross-department and functional teams

Monitor and track sustainability department performance objectives

Create metrics, trends of key data points, monitor and track department performance objectives

Assess and provide solutions for resource needs

Partner with Chief Sustainability Officer

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a directly related field.

Experience: 10 years of formal and/or business application experience in financial analysis, communication, project management, P&L, sustainabilityComputer Skills: Standard computer skills required.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and making presentations to drive business decisions. Confident and able to be influential and assertive. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify complex information.

Special skills: Developing strong relationships with external and internal customers; candidate must have exceptional financial acumen and problem-solving skills; experience with developing and implementing work systems and processes related to business operations

Supervision: Team of professionals and administrative support staff.

Travel: 4-12 domestic trips per year
