Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Define and implement processes for coordination and communication between organizations and with GE stakeholders to facilitate the GE SMO (Separation Management Office).

Support cross-discipline teams to define & refine specifications, run services acquisition process & contracting.

Identify key performance indicators, set milestones matching each part of the organization separation timelines, and establish a reporting cadence.

Track and monitor projects status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are met.

Manage risk and dependencies between organizations.

Ensure ongoing communication of progress against projects objectives.

Proactively identify and resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.

Develop & implement comprehensive project plans, including setting strategy for project team structure & resource alignment, managing activities and milestones, and communicating with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree.

Strong knowledge of Sourcing processes.

Project management experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strongly structured, Innovative, and self-motivated.

Flexible team player with ability to successfully lead and motivate multi-regional, culturally diverse teams to attain efficient preparation, installation, and start-ups.

Desired Characteristics

Ability to influence, plan and provide structure and organization in a fast paced, changing environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.

Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization.

Knowledge of Lean tools.

Ability to use critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions.
