Bell in Fort Worth, TX has an opening for a Sr. Business System Analyst with expertise in working with SAP demand management, material master scheduling and MRP to join our team in manufacturing Procurement Systems 

 

In this role, you will analyze data to provide high level direction for managing Make/Buy changes and effectivities.  Conduct audits of Bills of Material in all current systems.  You will analyze data to review excess demand and provide manufacturing responsibility determinations.  Lead cross functional teams while ensuring the correct personnel are participating in change board meetings. The Sr. Business System Analyst assists the Manager of Enterprise Demand Management and Governance support processes for Engineering, Procurement and Planning changes.  

 

Responsibilities:

Manage New and Production Programs with risk assessment and Manufacturing Responsibility changes.

Assist with training, fact finding and analyze data using ENOVIA/CAMs/SAP.

Define, document, and maintain the vision for IBP and the associated processes and application.

Provide Make/Buy decisions and changes working with ME Planning, Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing Centers of Excellence.

Review and disposition excess to requirements.  Report results to the Government for Military excess (DCAA and DCMA).

Review and manage corrective actions for Bills of Material audits for the MMAS Audit Compliance for the Government (DCAA and DCMA).

Manage all outsourcing efforts and changes within all systems.

Lead Impact Assessments for Engineering Changes.

Provide Primary Plant and Special Procurement keys for all parts and production changes to Master Data Management.

Mange ME Planning BOM integrity report and other Planning discrepancies to ensure synthetic parts and phantom parts are established correctly within all systems.

Facilitate Center of Excellence Change Board meetings.

Provide top priority Changes in Engineering, request for effectivity settings and Make/Buy changes to the COE Boards for review and approval.

Maintain Compliance issues and policies and procedures.

Validate Engineering Change Order change incorporation throughout all systems.

Bill of Material pull requests for Bell Textron.

Validate Engineering EBOM and the Planning PLBOM match 30 days prior to orders being released.

Respond to ad hoc requests for Spares to ensure correct part is being procured or made.

Engage with industry experts on the design processes focusing on process as well as integrity and availability of all data associated with the master scheduling and build plans, including the technical accuracy, accuracy of information, and conformance to company, commercial (regulatory agencies) and Military requirements for all engineering designs and system interfaces.

In this role, you will responsible for achieving the following outcomes:

Accurate Make/Buy decisions.

Executable Bills of Material

Define improvements that will provide long term efficiency improvements.

Ensure Bell is using industry standards  ','!*!Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Position Requirements:

At least 6 years’ experience in procurement, demand management, scheduling, planning, and build of aerospace products.  

Expert knowledge of Bills of Materials and structures.

Experience in data analytics and making decisions while working with cross-functional teams.    

Expert in SAP with respect to demand management, material master and MRP.

Experience with ENOVIA, BEIMS, BEDVUe, and other product definition tools.

Experienced with Bills of Material and their structure.

Knowledge of Bell Business structure.

Excellent oral, visual and written communication skills. 

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

Helicopter Planner/Buyer Experience

Masters MBA or MS

Six Sigma Certification
