SUMMARY

Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Supply Chain Consultant in San Diego, CA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are

Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience with C5ISR Integrated Logistics Support, to include Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry leadership in C5ISR Integrated Logistics Support.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)

Education:

Master’s Degree in Logistics or Business Management or related field and 8 years of  C5ISR Experience or Bachelor’s Degree in in Logistics or Business Management or related field and 12 years of  C5ISR Experience.  If no degree -

Eighteen (18 years) of experience Technical Training in C5ISR Integrated Logistics Support required.

Experience:

8 Years’ Experience in the use of Navy and DoD databases and tools to include, ICAPS, JETDAS, CDMD-OA, TDMIS, NAVY ONE TOUCH

8 Years’ Experience Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) Military Standard Transaction Reporting & Accounting Procedure(s) (MILSTRAP) DOD supply system

8  years’ experience Maintenance Index Page (MIP), Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) significant to supported U.S. Ships

8  years’ experience Maintenance and Material Management System (3M) Manual

12 years’ experience in direct logistics support to a systems center or similar organization is required.

Have at least 10 years’ experience leading Integrated Logistics Support Teams within the Department of Defense.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Knowledge of Expanded Ship Work Breakdown Structure (ESWBS) and Hierarchical Structure Code (HSC) usage

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Programs

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple engineering disciplines, including software, firmware, hardware, and systems engineering.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
