This position is responsible for ensuring all product and materials are loaded or unloaded in a timely manner using a motor-powered forklift or standup lift while working in an area with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, which will include a freezer suit, gloves and head wear, You will be trained and licensed as a professional forklift operator.

Shift: Day Shift (A Shift)

Sunday-Wednesday 7:00am- 7:00pm

During your work shift, which consist of 10 to 12 hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds. As part of efficiently completing the job tasks a handheld scanner will be used to keep track of product as it is loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility. At certain times other job duties and tasks maybe part of the daily routine.

Requirements:

Forklift training is provided

Must take and pass a forklift operator’s test within the 90 day probationary period

Must be able to maintain 95 percent product rate

18 years of age

Applicants must have at least 6 months of work experience with a single employer and no unacceptable gaps in employment

Must reside in the Kansas City Metro area to be considered an applicants

Must be able to do basic math, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

High School Diploma/GED preferred
