This facility operates five days a week and produces Barber Foods Stuffed Chicken Breast products.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for daily requisitions of MRO items included but not limited to equipment parts, consumable inventoried items, and production supplies. Submit RFQ’s for non-inventoried parts request, repair & service request, and capital projects through preferred and/or approved suppliers and create subsequent requisitions. Aid in managing cycle count activities related to MRO stock items and ensure accuracy between physical counts and inventory in SAP system. Resolution of receipt discrepancies including but not limited to damages, incorrect parts, overages, and shortages. Resolve cost discrepancies, quantity errors or lead times on purchase orders. Support day to day procurement related activities such as accounts payable, goods receipt verification, blocked PO’s, and invoices. General administrative functions as required by position, maintaining, and filing required documentation. Support maintenance team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 1 plus years’ experience; Purchasing experience a plus.

Computer Skills: Requires computer skills in SAP and Microsoft office suite. Must possess the skill level to develop, create and maintain spreadsheets.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Special Skills: Effective strategic planning project management prioritization, problem solving, leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, persuasion and team building skills; interpersonal skills and developed business acumen are mandatory; multi-tasked detail oriented organized and strong customer service skills; ability to exhibit judgment to handle confidential information and challenging business situations.
