SUMMARY:
The Process Improvement Specialist will provide process improvement and operational support for key HR programs to help ensure our Tyson team members have a seamless HR experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive business process analysis and measurement to assigned projects Utilize process improvement methodology including process improvement methodologies
Maintain an accurate repository of human resources process maps using a process taxonomy, process mapping style guides while adhering to our process improvement guiding principles
Maintain a process taxonomy and methodology to organize and assess core HR processes
Regularly review and troubleshoot processes and HR data, and identify opportunities for further improvement
Support data analysis work to provide relevant, actionable feedback to project teams on how to improve core HR programs and operations
Work with the HR Leads to identify and proactively implement solutions to key pain points
Understand where technology can be leveraged to refine or eliminate non value-add process steps
Partner with stakeholders to identify escalation trends, prioritize optimization opportunities, and remove roadblocks to execution
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 3 years of experience in HR, one or more years of experience with lean/six sigma business process improvement and change management
Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement performance strategies across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; Effective time management and prioritization skills; Detail oriented with focus on quality; Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive positions

Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
