POSITION OVERVIEW
Azure Cloud IT Operations Support Team will focus on monitoring, repairing, and the remediation of issues related to Azure Cloud IT operations and assets. This team is responsible for the day-to-day operations and/or support of the Azure Cloud environment. Shall resolve complex incidents and perform proactive trend analysis to identify any bottlenecks within this Service area. Preventative measures will include root cause analysis of recurring incidents, availability, and performance issues to identify solutions. Any recommendations and implementation of permanent fixes will be in consultation and direction of the Client. The primary objective is to perform preventative maintenance, provide break fix support and enhancements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ? Build standards that are repeatable and sustainable. ? End User Computing. ? Intune. ? Azure's Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Support. ? Azure Builds. ? Zscaler Support.
? Maintain and document the cloud platform to support solutions.
? Operate and manage the cloud platform.
? Continuously improve the platform.
? Keep up with new innovations in the cloud platform.
? Suggest self-service solutions.
? Ensure that solutions meet existing governance and compliance requirements.
? Review release plans for sources of new platform requirements.
? Manage and monitor Office 365 services.
? Administer and support Office 365 policies and groups.
? Maintain a highly secure system through proper security configurations.
? Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to Microsoft 365 services.
? User Administration (e.g. Azure Active Directory, Azure, Workday, and LDAP).
? Follow a consistent process for incident and problem resolution.
? Work with Microsoft to address M365 service issues, actively seek solutions to the needs of internal and external customers, communicate trends to management.
? Support the evolution of the Microsoft 365 services through the design and implementation of new service features.
? Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Architecture, Service Management, etc.
? Improve internal efficiency and customers happiness by finding opportunities to optimize existing processes and tools.
? Prepare technical documentation on the Microsoft 365 services and related procedures and operations.
? Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Azure IT Operations Support
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE • Experience with monitoring solutions. • Solid understanding of cloud architectures (compute, storage, databases) and networks. • Experience administering and deploying on Azure Public Cloud platforms. • Practice knowledge of containers technology and orchestration (Kubernetes). • Experience with and knowledge of: o Infrastructure and automation o CI/CD, testing and deployment tools o Configuration Management tools
• Strong working knowledge in enterprise backup disk-based solutions (DPM, Azure Backup).
• Knowledge of industry standard maintenance practices and monitoring tools is required.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Enterprise grade virtualization.
• Working knowledge in PowerShell (with Ansible).
• Strong working knowledge in enterprise storage solutions is a plus.
• Firm understanding of IT terms and concepts with ability to read vendor documentation and perform related duties accurately.
• Must be able to create engineering level documentation representing proposed, pilot, and as built systems.
• Active Directory/Group Policy/Group Policy Preferences.
• Understands Azure Services.
• Understands programming Pseudocode/PowerShell.
• Strong Client facing experience.
• Good understanding of ITIL and SLA Management with Customer teams.
• Strong Team management skills and ability to inspire team for high performance.
• Understanding and experience with Azure AD and Azure Domain services.
• Understanding and experience with Azure File Share and Azure File sync.
• Understanding and experience with Compliance Center, Intune and Modern.
