THE TEAM

Our Finance Operations team provides strategic and operational support to everyone at Zuora. We are responsible for Global Procurement, Sales Compensation, Payroll and the Monthly Close Process. Our Procurement team is a group data driven experts who provide instrumental support to our ZEOs globally. They are our SME on procurement related items and have a proven record of providing savings to the company. We pride ourselves on our ability to work well together and cross functionally to build out systems and processes that allow us to achieve strict deadlines while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance. And we really enjoy spending time together as a team both in and outside of the office!

YOUR MISSION: Lead all Procurement efforts efficiently and effectively and enable ZEOs to maximize the value they receive from our vendors

THE OPPORTUNITY (AKA: Why you want this role over any other out there)

The Director of Procurement is responsible for leading all procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives.

The Director will work to transform our existing procurement processes, driving a vision and strategy and working cross-functionally to enable procurement from initial request through final delivery, contract negotiation, and execution, as well as ongoing performance management and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with management to determine the long-term needs of the company and establish appropriate sourcing and procurement strategies and processes

Establish and enforce policies and methodologies for sourcing new products and services

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company to agree on business goals and key requirements

Establish and drive KPI’s to measure procurement operational objectives

Effectively work with senior business leaders to build Procurement’s profile and engagement on key sourcing strategies, and provide support for resolution of procurement related issues

Develop and execute Key Category Management strategies that integrates planning, analysis and execution capabilities with strong focus on developing a comprehensive understanding of the organization's current and future requirements

Lead the function to create value, drive continuous improvement, and provide savings by applying category management and strategic sourcing leading practices

Ensure integrity of savings tracking and reporting efforts and work with the Finance team to ensure realization of negotiated savings.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

10 plus years of experience in procurement with a proven track record in Procurement Operations and Strategic Sourcing including Supplier Risk and Relationship ManagementTech industry preferred

4 plus years of people management experience, coaching skills and a passion for developing people

Executive gravitas, able to support Finance and Business Partners on key initiatives to gain traction and sponsorship

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to build/maintain strong cross-functional relationship

Effective and excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, and project management skills

Proficiency in MS Office, Coupa and Netsuite
