Head of Operations\u00A0\u2013 Big Bird Debone\u00A0Direct and manage all\u00A0complexes within the business unit.Directs\u00A0Complex Manager\u2019s in regards to\u00A0facility\u00A0operations in multiple plants.Develops plans\u00A0to ensure that plants are meeting business initiativesApproves AFEs that will provide a return on investment.Developing and managing projects resulting in inventory reductions and service improvements.Recommending and implementing action plans with plants, suppliers, sales, marketing, and finance.Developing relevant and useful reports and analysis to assist Planning.Prepares budget and makes recommendations to\u00A0executives.Sets production and processing goals for\u00A0the complex.Responsible for operational compliance with safety directives.Oversee\u00A0recommended\u00A0improvements to productivity, labor efficiencies, and reducing plant costsIn concert with\u00A0Operations and Complex\u00A0Managers, establish accountabilities and goals used for performance evaluation\u00A0Education:\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Associate\u2019s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience:\u00A0Typically requires 15 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience. DIRECTLY RELATED work experience will be accepted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the educational requirement.Special Skills:Experience in both processing and live operations strongly preferred.Proven experience managing and motivating others for maximum performance. Team player with leadership skills Good work ethic Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills Good communication skills, both verbal and written Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures Ability to handle conflict; interpersonal skills Microsoft Office.\u00A0 Proficiency in Excel preferred Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of production jobs Strong multi-tasking skills are necessary Strong analytical skills & problem solving\u00A0Relationships\u00A0Internal:\u00A0Plant personnel, senior team and production employees.\u00A0 Frequent contact with Corporate\u00A0HQ\u00A0and\u00A0Execute Officers.External:\u00A0Community, vendors, customers\u00A0Manages:\u00A0\u00A0Directly supervise\u00A0Operations and Complex Managers\u00A0EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
