Aon is looking for an Operations Specialist IIJob Description Summary: We are looking for am Operations Specialist II in our Fort Wayne, IN office! This position is accountable for managing and coordinating all functions of operations within the division. The primary responsibilities are to manage the operations staff, ensure timeliness and accuracy of policy issuance and Documaker processing within the business unit, and to review and communicate written, verbal and electronic information needed to effectively and efficiently perform issuance functions. This is a senior level operations position and is a liaison to management and other service units.Job Responsibilities: Attend all training classes provided as instructed.Coordinate and perform all training needs of issuance personnel in policy issuance functions and the Documaker process, to include quality control of policies for new employees and/or at management request.Identify and report any systems and/or forms problems to the help desks and management, such as logic changes needed.Review all electronic information from help desks and management on system and/or procedure changes.Communicate to the issuance team and/or the business unit pertinent electronic information from the help desks.Serve as key contact for all surplus lines issues affecting the business unit.Perform higher security level functions within the AS400, i.e. error corrections, policy linking, etc.Discuss any problems and possible solutions with regard to workloads/workflows with management.Serve as a technical resource for Operations Coordinators and Operations Specialists I.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:3-5 years related experience in the insurance industry or a related field.Strong computer keyboarding skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills.Education:High School Diploma or GEDWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
