Description
Humana is looking for an energetic, tenacious and cheerful Agile Coach who can meet non-development teams and large groups where they are in the agile maturity journey, and from there take them further. This Agile Coach might find themselves presenting options to senior leaders 8AM in the morning, then be on to a collaboration session helping team members estimate work, and from there partner in a coalition working on a transformation plan. Humana is seeking individuals who can blend in to its culture and guide the IT Operations team towards 100% agile adoption. An agile mindset backed by relevant experience is valued over deep technical knowledge of agile frameworks and guides.
Responsibilities
Working with IT Operations teams, this Lead Agile Coach helps advance and scale our team transformation to Agile. The Coach serves as a mentor, coach and guide to teams in the implementation and transformation to agile mindset, processes, and tools to ensure effective outcomes for primarily non-development teams. As a champion for change and continuous learning, this Lead Agile Coach guides the teams through standard and specialized daily activities, conducts team workshops and builds the tool set. The work includes:
Providing training and workshops
Teaching, mentoring and coaching teams and leaders on Agile practices, roles, artifacts and ceremonies
Designing and developing Agile process and practices for Agile adoption across IT Operations
Partnering with project managers to organize and facilitate SAFe Team, Program and Portfolio events
Organizing and facilitating SAFe value streaming exercises
Working with the Data Analytics team to implement Agile metrics to drive data driven decision making and demonstrate the impact of coaching and transformation efforts
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and promoting a culture of innovation
Bringing industry knowledge from the Agile community and applying it to IT Operations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline
6 years working in Agile with coaching/Scrum experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to various levels of management
Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing organizational and business demands
Experience moving from waterfall/predictive methodologies to agile
Certified Scrum Master
Certified Agile Team Facilitator
Certified Agile Coach
Preferred Qualifications:
Organizational Change Management and Communication experience a plus
Objective & Key Result (OKR) experience helpful
Additional Information:
Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.

Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
