Strategic Planning and OperationsSenior Manager, Field Operations, US VA&P
Description
This position will report to the Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Operations within US Value, Access & Payment (VAP), supporting capabilities across multiple VAP field based teams which include (but not limited to) Account Executives, Access Reimbursements Managers and Field HEOR. This position partners with various functional teams to develop and ensure business processes and systems are well-designed for the VA&P field teams, while identifying solutions, tools, technologies to enhance customer facing effectiveness and productivity, and mobilizing appropriate support functions responsible for creating such capabilities.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Strategy, Planning and Execution
Represent VA&P Field teams in strategic projects which impact field capabilities
Represent VA&P field teams by providing insights into the development and execution of Sales Force Effectiveness and Marketing initiatives, programs and communications platform
Manage/ track key strategic initiatives for VA&P field teams including the integration of Topics and SubTopics into relevant systems
Integrate and interpret market data to support decision making that drives productivity and performance
Enable efficient business planning and review processes, and incorporate key insights into business development and planning
Identify key operational issues and address with the appropriate operations functions
Participates in planning of VA&P National Meetings
Systems and Reporting
Lead complex process change and technology design implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for VA&P field teams, ensure tools are fully aligned with strategies, processes, tactics, roles, and priorities of the VA&P organization
Monitor utilization of resources and recommend course correction as necessary
Enhance data analytics across organizational functions
Leverage new innovative technologies to create efficiencies and improve processes
Matrix Leadership and Alignment
Liaise with alliance partners (where applicable) to identify business requirements needed to enable sharing of data, reports and other information or processes
Partner with matrix organizations (US Sales Operations, US Commercial Analytics, IT, etc.) to ensure:
VA&P annual objectives and priorities are shared and understood
VA&P account/territory alignments are current and accurate with supporting systems and associated business processes
Timely and accurate data and reporting
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent
5 years of pharmaceutical or other relevant sales or field operations experience is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence in presenting complex information to various stakeholders
Proven working experience in project management
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in BMS systems and applications
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work effectively, collaborate and build alignment across a broad and complex matrix involving field and home office employees
Ability to identify, implement and execute objectives aligned with business strategy, with experience analyzing and interpreting data
Able to work effectively in highly matrixed organization and influence others with no reporting relationship
