Marketing Operations Jobs description

A marketing operations professional is responsible for conducting market mapping—a thorough market study of popularity of products, and plan and implement marketing strategies accordingly so as to maximize profit, increase revenue, and meet company goals. A marketing operations person assigns individual targets to a team and monitors it on a regular basis for effective performance. A marketing operations professional on the senior level needs to participate in business analysis and annual budget planning.
A marketing operations professional should be well conversant with competitor brands present in the market; should have a clear demographic knowledge along with the knowledge of all products and current and upcoming market trends in urban as well as developing areas; and should maintain cordial relations with major clientele. A marketing operations professional should conduct performance tracing of the launched products as per commitments. A marketing operations professional is also responsible for planning and coordinating marketing events, product management, and negotiation of prices.
A marketing operations professional should possess a bachelor’s degree and preferably one in business administration. Good communication, negotiation, analytical skills, along with knowledge of data management is required.
