Peterborough County's emergency medical services appoints operations manager
An emergency medical services operations manager position in Peterborough County that was vacant for about eight months has finally been filled. Randy Mellow will begin work with the county-city ambulance service by the end of August. He will also design and implement quality assurance programs and write policies and procedures for emergency medical services in the county. Mellow has significant experience in the area of emergency services. He has previously held a variety of positions such as human resources and quality assurance supervisor, primary care paramedic, volunteer firefighter, and ambulance disaster-planning committee chairman.
Florida City Gas names new vice president and general manager
Jay Sutton has been appointed vice president and general manager, Coastal Region, for Florida City Gas. An engineer, Sutton will manage all operations at Florida City Gas and Coastal Georgia. He brings 23 years of experience to the company. Sutton most recently served as director, strategic alliances, and was instrumental in improving the efficiency of call-center operations at AGL Resources, the parent company of Florida City Gas. He will replace Charles Rawson, who was recently named vice president, gas operations, for AGL Resources. Atlanta-based energy-services company AGL Resources serves more than 2.2 million customers in six states.
